The Artist
A biproduct of other passions throughout most of my life like running, hiking, travel and exploration, photography was traditionally a nice addition to the story of my adventures that I would share with friends and family. As my passions evolved, I realized that I was no longer just taking pictures of what I saw on my adventures but planning and going on adventures specifically to take pictures of what I experienced. Around this time, I also noticed that my backpack held more camera equipment than camping gear. Hmmm, sign?
After many, many years of those same friends and family encouraging me to share my stories and photographs with more people, I decided to build this website as a way to do exactly that.

The Printing Process
The first (and my personal favorite) method I use to display my works is LumaChrome Acrylic. This process creates the highest quality, longest lasting images available today. My acrylic prints arrive ready to hang with a rear-mounted frame which gives the image a free-floating look on your wall.

The other medium I offer, is a ChromaLux Aluminum. This is a sublimated print on an aluminum panel and is also delivered ready to hang, via the rear-mounted frame system. ChromaLux Aluminum is perfect under indoor lighting situations, but it is also the preferred option for outdoor display.

My Print Editions
I only print 'em once. Ever. You will NEVER see YOUR art on someone else’s wall… at least when that art has my name on it.
The value of my works is based on the cost of materials, combined with a metric that calculates the innate qualities of the subject (how I feel about the picture, the level of effort and/or planning put into it, and some other ethereal criteria I apply) that make it valuable to ME. I do not apply the cost of travel, supplies, equipment, etc. to my pricing because that is the investment I make in my own happiness. In other words, I'd be out there anyway... I'll incur the cost of my own entertainment ;)
Guaranteeing that my images will only ever be printed once makes them true works of art. Not simply a photograph hanging on a wall. The media in which I choose to display my art also means it will be here well after you and I are gone. This stuff is not just made to last but made to retain like-new condition for generations to come. Pairing extreme exclusivity (1 of 1) with the highest quality materials (and hopefully an image that moves YOU and ideally others), my art is specifically designed to gain value over time!

When you purchase a WeldonWorks print, you will also receive a pair of J-hook hangers to immediately display your new artwork. Separately, a Certificate of Authenticity will be delivered via Priority Mail that guarantees your piece of art is legit.
